Fun Handwashing Tips For Kids From Softsoap!
Getting kids to wash their hands can be quite the challenge! Softsoap has created a video that not only educates kids about proper hand washing, but also makes the experience fun and easy!
Upon opening, we see “The Dirties” a rock-band of germs performing in a stadium of raucous fans. The irresistibly catchy chorus of “pump the pump” reminds kids of occasions when it is necessary to wash their hands. Midway through the song, the band is transformed into “The Cleanies” by the power of soap. Providing A Safe-Place for Kids Following Disasters
What a great story!
Last Saturday, CJ's Bus rolled out of Evansville heading towards Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In the wake of the April 27 storms in the Tuscaloosa area, CJ's bus is on the road ready to assist families, especially the children, to cope with the tragedy that occurred. The bus will operate from 8am to 5pm, until their services are no longer needed. CJ’s Bus is free of charge to the families affected by the severe weather.

Calling all bird lovers! The National Aviary is seeking entries for its first annual Best Bird House in the ‘Burgh Design and Build Competition.
Children, teens and adults are invited to get creative and join the fun by building a house suitable for habitation and nesting by one of the following species categories: House Wren/Chickadee; Eastern Bluebird / Tree Swallow; Screech Owl/ Kestrel / Wood Duck; or

Materials Needed:
1 clean 1-liter soda bottle
Craft knife
Wooden spoon
Twine for hanging
