We do so much to keep our kids safe and it’s so nice to have a little help from our friends at Children’s Hospital! They want everyone to be a Hard Helmet Head this summer! Carnegie Science Center and GlaxoSmithKline and are teaming up once again to offer Science in the Summer for the ninth consecutive year, a program that provides free science education to students at local libraries across the region.

In this class, students learn basic childcare, how to handle emergencies and how to keep themselves, and the children in their care safe. Each participant will receive a certificate upon completion of the class. Make sure to wear comfortable clothing and bring a jacket, as center is air conditioned.
