Ahhhh, Summer is here!  The days are warmer and longer, the sun is brighter, and the evening breezes are ripe with the smell of flowers blooming.  It’s a wonderful time of year.  This is my favorite time of year not only because it’s warmer but also because it allows me to truly appreciate being a Home Business Entrepreneur!

There are some great kids events coming up at PPMS. Check August 28, kids are going to love that event. We already know they like bike races on the speedway as we have done it for many years & we found out they loved the petting zoo & pony rides June 16, 2012 & they are returning August 28. We have found the noise does not bother the animals if they are behind the grandstands so they will be moved up near our playground for the August 28 event. Kids absolutely love Monster ...

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1/8 cup water (more or less as needed)
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips, M&Ms, or other mix-ins

1. Cream the butter and brown sugar together until smooth.
2. Add the vanilla.
3. Gradually add the flour until it is completely mixed.
4. Add water to adjust the consistency of the dough.
5. Fold in the mix-ins of choice.
6. Enjoy!
