A Must See and Laugh Out Loud Show

What a fantastic and entertaining show!

We were graciously invited to the Benedum on July 31 to see the opening night of the Addams Family. From the opening announcements followed by the infectious theme song (complete with finger snaps), I was prepared for some laughs.

The opening number set the tone for the rest of the show.

Summer Color Wreath

It is simple to create this colorful, festive wreath.  I could not help that it reminds me of summer, sitting on the beach drinking a fruity adult beverage!

What you need:
  • cocktail umbrellas (check party supply stores)
  • Styrofoam wreath

What you do:

Easily poke the toothpick umbrellas into your wreath form. MORE is better in this case! Use a variety of sizes for interest!

HAVE fun! : )

Zucchini Lasagne

Macaroni Menu

I have had great weight-loss success this year on a low-carb diet. Makes 6-8 servings.

Ingredients:
  • 3 medium zucchini
  • salt
  • 32 oz jar of your favorite pasta sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef, turkey or chicken
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (15-oz ...
