April 18, 2011

Looking for something to do outside as a family this Easter weekend?  The Riverhounds’ Home Opener is the perfect answer!

On April 23, at 7pm, the Riverhounds, Pittsburgh’s Professional Soccer Team, will take on their rivals, the Harrisburg City Islanders, at Chartiers Valley High School Stadium.  There’s plenty for the family to do before, during, and after the game!

Before

Be sure to arrive early for the chance to sign your kid up to be a ball boy or ball girl!  AMO, the Riverhounds’ mascot, will be there to get the crowd revved up for the match.

During

Kids are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt with prizes for the winners!

After

Meet the team and get autographs!  Say a special hello to Major League Soccer players, Boyzzz Khumalo, Kyle Veris, Jason Yeisley, and Sammy Appiah.

To get tickets to the game, call the Riverhounds’ office at 412.539.1191, or purchase them at the gate.  Bring the whole family to the game on April 23 to Unleash the Hounds!
