KENMAWR AMERICAN LEGION POST 464 will sponsor the Memorial Day parade in Kennedy Township on Monday, May 30, 2011.  
Parade will form at 8:30AM at 1806 Pine Hollow Road. 

The Annual Kennedy Township Memorial Day parade will begin at 9:00 am sharp at the firehouse here on Pine Hollow Rd, and will conclude at Fairhaven Park, near the memorial, where a short service will be conducted in memorium of our fallen heros who have put time in for our Township, County, State, and Country. After the parade and Service, the Kennedy softball and baseball leagues will begin their kick off for their baseball season at fairhaven park. We envite all to join.

The Memorial Day Parade will be on Monday, May 30th at 10AM, followed by services at the Honor Roll. Refreshments will follow at the Oakdale Community Center. Bill Gamble will return once again as Master of Ceremonies for the event.

Memorial Day Celebration

 10:30 War on Terrorism Memorial Ceremony

 

 Free Admission, Children's Activities, Veteran Remembrance Activies & Live Entertainment

 

 This is a free community event from 10 am  to 4 pm. There will be several programs throughout the day including a memorial service and tribute for  the Fallen Pennsylvanians on the War on Terrorism. This year's event will include a patriotic pup parade, a new exhibit on military mascots and animals, food, entertainment and more.

 

Please bring your dogs to share in the celebration or visit to adopt a new friend.od! 

 

 

Bloomfield/Lawrenceville -- A parade will begin at 9:30 in the Sure-Save parking lot in Bloomfield and will proceed to St. Mary's Cemetery and Butler Street and finish at Allegheny Cemetery.

 

This is one of the largest parades in town!
