The Learning Center at North Fayette Pre-School

If you have a 2, 3 or 4 year old and are looking for a pre-school experience to get your child off to the best possible introduction to education, The Learning Center at North Fayette is the place you want your child!
As many readers may know, my son keeps me on my toes! We tried a different preschool last year and it just wasn’t a good fit for him. To say I was apprehensive to send him this year would be an understatement. Every time I discussed preschool with anyone local, the same name kept coming up… Ms. Maribeth! According to everyone I talked to, she was like the rock star of preschool teachers! I met Ms. Maribeth and Ms. Michelle at Open Registration for the school and instantly felt at ease… for the most part! J Well, September rolled around and my big boy went off to school and LOVED it!! He comes home singing songs, smiling and telling me all about what he did in school. Every day I would pick him up and he would want to go BACK TO SCHOOL to tell his teachers something he forgot to share. Can you imagine, a kid wanting to go back to school?
Truth time came when my husband and I went in for our very first conference with his teachers. We sat down and both of his teachers were literally beaming when they talked about Joseph and his antics! They told me his strengths and his weaknesses and most importantly how I can support both aspects at home. They told me stories of him talking and talking and talking to any adult and asking 1,000 questions at the fire house. And then, the moment that made me cry… right there in the parent teacher conference. I explained how nervous I was about sending him to school and how great it was that he loved it there and how much I appreciated the fact that they loved Joseph even though he wasn’t the easiest of kids in class. His teacher leaned toward me and said that every child deserves for their teacher to think they are the greatest kid in the world!!! This is EXACTLY how they make every child in their classroom feel. I have helped out in class a few times and with every word, action and deed these 2 teachers instill a love of learning, a feeling of self-worth and values that every child deserves.
Three of our team’s children have been in this class and we cannot say enough positive about our experiences with this program.
