FREE CHILD'S HAIRCUT!!

January 3, 2011

Jaime Goble asked.....

" I've had a similar style of haircut for years now. My mom traumatized me in the 3rd grade when I got pretty close to a buzz cut....for a girl...horrifying! I have let it grown out (no bangs) I'm ready for something new but am a get up and go girl with no "time" for hair... What do you suggest as a mini step going from shoulder length, pin straight hair....I want to try something new but I'm scared..."

There is no better way to start off the new year than with a new look!!! I know how traumatizing a bad haircut can be... I think we all do,unfortunately. Thank goodness that, as a hairdresser, I can assure you that we are much more educated than the hairdressers were when you were in 3rd grade!  Hairdresser used to be taught haircuts that were the trend... not haircuts that suit each individual person. There are many steps to take when you want a new look.... of course they all depend on you!  As I have said before... if you get the right cut for your hair texture and face shape, it can be very low maintenance!  I would suggest going with a long bob with long layers... By keeping the bottom of your hair blunt you don't have to worry about taking to much time styling it... and by putting in long layers you will get some lift and style without a lot of effort! From the way you describe your hair, that's the best advice that I can give you.... but I encourage you to come get "Shagged" and we'll teach you how to "rock your look!"
