Debby Perry, Macaroni Kid 2012 Publishing Mom of the Year moved to the West Pittsburgh area in 2006. Pregnant with her 2nd child her first mission upon settling in was to locate a pediatric firm that would care about her children as she did. She wasn't hopeful based on past experiences. Was it truly out there? Were there professionals that would feel like family? Is that just in Mayberry?
She found First Steps Pediatrics, met Dr. Anna Suray and looked forward to utilizing their services for future care but didn't honestly expect more than the average.
Four weeks after the birth of her second child Debby knew that her choice of pediatric care was meant to be and that "Mayberry" was right in her backyard. When a patio glass table shattered directly on top of her newly born Peyton the follow up care and concern by the staff at First Steps Pediatrics was tremendous. They cared for her as if she were their own. The way they held her and of course treated her (mild, thank goodness) injuries confirmed for Debby that she was in the right place. Dr. Anna Suray was one "big hug" and seven years later and now with three children, Debby Perry will never consider another firm for her children's medical care. The West Pittsburgh community will agree.
