Do You Tiggly? I Did!

Seamless Blend Learning And Fun With Your Little Ones!- A REVIEW

October 28, 2014
If you're household is anything like mine then regardless of the age of your children, their eager little hands are drawn to every device you own!  The task to find a way to introduce young children to your very expensive devices, is daunting but with Tiggly it's easy!

Tiggly kindly sent me two sets of learning devices to explore with my kiddos.  Tiggly Counts and Tiggly Shapes.  I was THRILLED to do so because I've actually seen Tiggly Shapes on the shelf at our local Learning Express of Robinson store.  However I wasn't sure exactly what it was nor how to use it!

It was a hidden GEM and no wonder, it's being noticed in the "awards world."  Check out all of the accolades here!

After some time hanging out with Tiggly and my 5 year old daughter,  I not only can tell you what they are, but to run and grab them while they're on the shelves.  These products are as unique as they come and in a techi-tech world you'll be queen gift giver!

Kids are naturally drawn to our devices and it's only a matter of time before you'll need to "hand it over."  Feel good about handing it over along with these brightly colored Tiggly Shapes & Tiggly Counts tools!  I was amazed at the connections my daughter made using both products.

You can read my synopsis below and then find out where to purchase Tiggly products and how to save 25% on all pre-orders of Tiggly Counts!

In a world of tech this is a great way to begin early education learning concepts in a digital way!

TIGGLY COUNTS!

What Is It?
You can watch a Video here.

Tiggly Counts, like Tiggly Shapes combines interactive tools for digital play and learning! It comes with 5 lightweight coutning tools that are similar to what we would all know as quisinnaire rods.  As a teacher we also used something called unifix cubes.

These counting tools offer children ages 3 and up the opportunity to combine tactile math manipulatives with fun digitial content! Each tool is a distinct color and explores number concepts from 1-5.

I loved watching Mady (5) explore the varying ways to count to get to 5.  1+4,  2+3, 1-2-3-4-5 and more.  All while lmaking silly recipes with the Chef on the Tiggly Chef app!  Depending on how she chose to explore and count with the rods, we explored varying early addition concpets!

The tools require the download of a few more APPS and all are of course free on the iTunes store!

This app stretches children’s imaginations while they learn basic math ideas such as one-to-one correspondence, counting and equal sets.

Who is it for?
Tiggly Counts is recommened for ages 3 and up! My 5 year old loved it!

Like Tiggly Shapes the product comes with a felt carrying case to properly stow your tools when not in use!  All of the tools withstood the sometimes not so gently hands of my 5 year old and as I said above, it was hard to get her away from both products! In fact, when she returned home after school she asked to Tiggly!
