Dressing His Blessings: Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10am-1pm.

Sharing our gifts to bless a child of God.

November 11, 2014

Dressing His Blessings is a volunteer movement to gift our children's outgrown Christmas outfits to a struggling family. By gifting our like-new donations, we are blessing a family so they can take "just one more thing" off the list at Christmas time. We will strive to help to remove the stress of the Christmas season by providing a beautiful outfit for boys and girls sizes newborn to 12/14 as we celebrate the Jesus’ birth.

Receiving families will be identified by local churches, school districts and service organizations.  The only requirement of an accepted family is that they are having trouble making financial ends meet this Christmas.  Outfits will be chosen, wrapped and delivered for each individual family.  Methods of delivery may vary depending on family circumstances.  Contingent on the amount of donations, not all referred families will receive outfits.  Christmas outfits will be delivered by December 10, 2014.

Items accepted include: new and like-new Christmas outfits (sizes newborn-12/14 for both boys and girls); accessories such as hair bows, headbands, ties and socks; coordinating coats and outerwear; shoes up to child size 4; monetary donations, checks can be made payable to Dressing His Blessings.

Drop off for this collection will be at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Avenue, Bridgeville, PA, 15017 on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 10am-1pm.  Please contact Mandy Evans at 412-916-3719 or mandy.jr@verizon.net with any questions.
