Girl. Sarah is a 15 year old girl from GERMANY. Dear host family, in this letter, I want to introduce myself to you, so you can decide whether you'd like to take me as an exchange student or not. I'm Sarah and I'm 15 years old. I'm quite confident in my own skin, helpful, kind, responsible and spontaneous. I love singing and playing the guitar, and I would like to be a singer in the future, but I also like doing sports, for example, horseback riding, running or table tennis. I really like to try new activities and things I may not know yet. I'm a funny person and I laugh a lot! My friends always say that my laugher causes them to laugh. I'd love to cook and bake German food for you and I would be delighted if you would choose me as an exchange student and if you'd let me be a part of your family. Yours, Sarah GPA: 3.60

Boy. Miguel is a 15 year old boy from SPAIN. Dear Host Family; My name is Miguel, and I live in Spain, with my parents and my brothers. I am the oldest of three boys. I am a sociable and responsible boy, I love meeting new friends and I like to have fun and test new experiences, but I also like tranquility. My hobbies are street skateboarding, drawing, surfing, playing video games and spending time with my friends. I am a good student, with good study discipline. My favorite subjects are math and physics, but I'm also good at art. I think that doing an academic year in a High School in the USA and living with an American Family will be a great opportunity to improve my English, learn more about a country and a culture that I love, have new experiences and meet new friends. It would be a pleasure to share with you a little bit about my country and my culture. If you think that I can fit into your family I will do my best to adapt to your way of life and learn from you. See you soon. GPA: 3.30

I can swim and I want to learn how to ride a horse. I love to listen to music. I love pets especially dogs. I can play violin, guitar and piano and I also love playing sports like basketball, volleyball and tennis. I got my first violin when I was 8 years old and now I'm playing in my high school orchestra. I like to participate in all school activities like sport day, New Year’s party because I can familiarize with my new friend and have some fun with my friends. I am looking forward to meeting you soon. Thank you to let me be a part of your family. Does not eat beef. GPA: 3.80
