We're pleased to present this sprawling new article from Xtra* on our beloved Greer Lankton, a trailblazing American artist who eloquently explored and questioned the norms of gender and sexuality, as well as the powerful imagery of popular culture and consumerism.
Featuring input from our Senior Archivist, Sarah Hallett, the article runs the gamut of Lankton's career - from her early days in New York's thriving outsider art scene of the 80s to her final (and now permanent) exhibition housed at the Mattress Factory, It's All About ME, not you.
Also covered is the Greer Lankton Collection Finding Aid.
