Supplies:
Printed pictures
Tape or glue
Paper- heavy paper or scrapbook paper work the best
Contact paper or laminator
Paper ring
Hole punch
1) Choose your pictures and print 2 of each picture. I chose 8 unique pictures and printed them twice. You may choose to have them printed professionally or just print them from your home computer. I made this last minute so I just used my home computer and printed each picture in a 3 inch square. (It might be fun to let your child pick some pictures and see what some of their favorite memories or people might be!)
2) Cut each picture out individually.
3) Choose a paper for your backing to your memory cards. A heavier paper is better for this. I chose scrapbooking paper with a random pattern. If you have construction paper or cardstock handy, that would work too.
4) Tape each picture to the non-decorated side of your paper.
5) Laminate your pages before you cut them out to save yourself some time! If you don’t have access to a laminator, clear contact paper will work and will give you the same level of durability.
6) Cut out each picture again. Make sure you leave a border of lamination around your picture especially if working with contact paper to insure you have a good seal to protect your pictures.
7) Punch a hole in each picture and slide them onto your ring!
You now have a unique and durable memory game to take with you to restaurants, doctor’s offices, or anywhere you might need a distraction for your little one!
