In 2005, Dana Ann and Rob Slizik of Scott Township had a beautiful baby girl named Samantha Ann. Samantha Ann was Stillborn. For the past three years, Dana Ann and Rob along with their Sons RJ and Daniel have been volunteering/raising funds for SIDS of PA/Cribs for Kids. "Grief counseling was what our family needed the most at that tragic time, and SIDS of PA and Eileen Carlins helped us and is still helping us today!" Dana Ann stated. " SIDS/Cribs for Kids wants to teach prevention, education and awareness and all aspects of safe sleep practices.
STEPS "4" SAMMY is taking one step, at a time to help their efforts!"
STEPS "4" SAMMY, Team Slizik is their team that represents and honors Samantha Ann's Life. "We want to honor her short life and make her memory last a lifetime!" The Slizik's state.

STEPS "4" SAMMY, and the Graco's Breath of Life Strolll (formerly known as The North Shore Stroll for SIDSof PA-Cribs for Kids) will be having their second annual walk. Team Slizik, is made up of close to 100 people.
Registration is online at www.sidspa.org , click on fundraisers, select STROLL, and then register, donate or download a brochure. When you fill out the registration form, put down our Team, STEPS "4" SAMMY, then in memory of , Samantha Ann Thompson Slizik.
Registration begins at 9am. The walk will take place on the North Shoreof Pgh, Riverfront Trail. The walk itself goes from 10-11 and from 11-1 their are food vendors, Capstone Grill, Cupka's 2, Eat N Park, Giant Eagle, and more! There will be face paintingfor the kids, freebies, and vendors too! Cookie Lee Jewelry- Dana Ann Slizik, Christophers Collages, Gold Valley Parties, Gold Canyon, Tupperware, Pretzel Crazy, Beauticontrol, Mary Kay and more! There is a dove dedication ceremony too that is absolutely beautiful. There are auction items and raffles too! The day is for families and last year many kids were there and had a blast!
Macaroni Kid Robinson will have a kid's activity and fun table manned by myself and Debby! Join us for a day of remembrance and fun.
