Pretzel and M and M Flowers

I thought these were such a fun (and tasty) way to celebrate Spring!!  Julia (my 5 year old) loves to make special treats if we know someone is coming for a visit so Uncle Darrell’s visit from Houston the perfect occasion to try these out!  These are quite simple to make and they are very yummy!

Supplies:

Almond Bark (or you can use white chocolate or any kind of chocolate that will melt)
Round pretzels (The picture shows sticks too but that part of the project didn't work out!)
M and M’s
Wax Paper

1)       Get your wax paper ready!

2)      Melt your chocolate

3)      Dip the front of your round pretzel in the chocolate and lay on was paper.

4)      Arrange your M and M’s to look like a flower!

TIP:
***
The great thing about almond barks is it can cool slightly and still be melted enough for items to stick to it so my 5 year old was able to do the entire process on her own once it was cool enough to touch. She LOVED it!
*** Over half the bag of round pretzels ended up being broken so if you want to make a large quantity, you  may want to buy more bags. I just crushed the already broken pretzels and mixed with the left over almond bark and made pretzel bark!!
