Soccer Shots is personally run by Pittsburgh RiverHound Anthony Calvano! He has been a pleasure to work with both professionally and personally as a parent.
We have personally utilized Soccer Shots South in the Robinson location for an 8 week session with my 3 year old and 6 year old. I was hesitant at first as my new 3 year old is very difficult at times but she has learned so much. When she determines she's had "enough" she simply takes a break. No pressure, nothing forced. I love that. It was a very non threatening way to introduce her to group sports. My 6 year old, ballet dancer, LOVED and excelled under the direction of Coach Melissa!
In short, the program was phenomenally simply, well put together and perfectly appropriate for the age level. Many parents were equally as impressed and it's with great satisfaction that we recommend the Soccer Shots program to you as parents. If you're looking to introduce your child to team play, simply sports values, basic soccer skills and taking direction from a "coach" then this program is for you. A shout out for Coach Melissa who was wonderful with all of the children. She was patient, kind and so consistent in her demeanor that I even nominated her for a Coach award via the Soccer Shots program!
