I learned about this story on a Haunted walking tour of Allegheny West. If you have never taken this tour it is pretty neat, and I highly suggest it! This Pittsburgh haunted house on 1129 Ridge Avenue has tons of ghoulish history beginning with its original inhabitants carpetbagger Charles Wright Congelier, his Mexican wife Lyda, and a young servant girl, Essie. Things got ugly after the discovery of an affair and the rest is HEADSTORY! I mean HISTORY! :)
