This is our craft of choice this week! Real Daddies wear aprons right!? Especially when they are doing what they were born to do -- B.B.Q. ING!
Go grab a white apron from The Scrub Shack in Robinson. They are about $9.00! Grab some fabric paint, some masking tape if you're into " accuracy," some paint brushes and some little hands to help!
Mask off an area to paint within on the apron!
Free style it or print out your design on the computer. Turn it over, old school shade it with a pencil all over. Completely cover the back with shaded pencil. The darker the better and use the side of the pencil point to do this! ( creating a carbon paper)
Put the carbon pencilled on top of the apron area. Trace on top with a pencil and it will TRANSFER your design to the apron!
Now you have a work surface if you're not into "free styling it!"
Have the kids help! Paint hand prints, foot prints etc! Or use some of the FUN ideas we came up with!
