Picture this. It is June 20, 2004. A nine-year old boy from Bel Air, Maryland gets onto a bus knowing nobody. He sits on the bus and a man with a Grizzly Adams beard shouts, “Who’s ready to go to West Virginia?” The bus erupts into screams, except for this boy who is trying to figure out what is so great about some camp in West Virginia. That boy was me and I will forever remember that day as the start of a lifelong journey with Camp Tall Timbers the last time I would ever think to not smile when someone mentions the Mountain State.
Parents, Camp Tall Timbers is more than just one-hundred and twenty acres of beautiful mountain landscape and a safe environment, it is an unforgettable experience.
The bonds your Campers make there last for a lifetime. Now, being a counselor myself, I can say that we have just as much fun as the Campers and we give 110% in all facets of camp life. I’m not the only one who thinks CTT is the best place ever, we have an excellent ratings on campratingz.com.
Kids, Camp Tall Timbers is the funnest place in the world! There’s a lake, Jet Ski, baseball diamond, gym, zip line, climbing wall, pool, horsebackriding and THREE soccer and football fields! Best of all YOU get to choose what you do everyday by making your very own schedule. The Counselors are fun young people and the other Campers are a blast!
