Tonight we had the pleasure of attending opening night of Disney on Ice 100 Years of Magic at CONSOL. Those of you waiting in the wings with tickets for one of the weekends shows---You are in for a real treat! Those of you who were debating whether or not to go--- pick some tickets up! There's not a bad seat in the house as the arena is cut in half for this performance.
While we've been to several of these sort of shows this one, in my opinion, took the cake as far as audience reach. You name it, they pretty much had it. Every lovable character from Mickey and Minnie of course to Mulan! WHO DOESN'T LOVE THEM SOME MULAN! It's a house favorite here and I apologize to our readers sitting in back of us-- for my "sing along!" From princesses A- Z to Toy Story and Nemo characters there was simply something for every kiddo. No ooey gooey only princesses-- there was action packed Army dudes and Mulan's fighting forces. Boys too will love this!
The best part of the whole night was watching my almost 3 year olds face as each beloved character emerged from the Disney Castle. She has "concert screams" down pat and I won't have to worry about whether or not she'll do me proud one day when she attends a Beiber concert.
For now, this three year old is star stuck by Mickey and Minnie and the stellar cast of Disney on Ice 100. It was magical watching her.
The show is just enough to keep them in their seats with plenty of memorable scenes from your favorite shows as well as some older ones like Pinocchio. We loved it and encourage you to check it out while it's still here in town.
Dorothy had it wrong--- it's not home there's no place like...
There's No Show Like Disney on Ice.
