AF 102 Critter Camp
For students in kindergarten or grade 1 in the spring of 2014

Our youngest campers will delight in three consecutive days of fun activities and projects focused on the care and safe handling of companion animals. Stories, crafts, and animal interactions will highlight the experience. Cats, dogs, and rabbits are the featured topics. We will provide snacks and beverages and a camp t-shirt that is to be worn each day. Critter Camp is limited to eight students per session.

AF 103 Camp Animal Friends
For students in grades 2-4 in the spring of 2014

For the budding pet lover or real animal enthusiast, this animal-centered program includes fun projects, care techniques, a craft, games and animal interactions. Proper handling, safety around animals and daily hands-on opportunities are included. Dogs, cats, and rabbits are the featured topics. A camp t-shirt, to be worn daily, and snacks and beverages will be provided. Camp Animal Friends is limited to ten students per session.

AF 118 Pets Plus
For students in grades 5-6 in the spring of 2014

Interactions with our dogs, cats, and rabbits, crafts, and animal safety plus more are what we have in store for our Pets Plus campers. Campers will participate in a drawing lesson, a humane investigation presentation and a visit to our medical suite. We will provide snacks and beverages and a camp t-shirt that is to be worn each day. Pets Plus is limited to twelve students per session.

AF 107 Canine Good Manners Camp
For students ages 13-17

Sit. Stay. Down. These are a few basic manners that can help a shelter resident get a forever home. Spend five days working with our camp counselors as they teach you how to help our shelter dogs learn the basics of good behavior using positive reinforcement and reward training techniques. If you want to make a real difference in the life of one of our dogs, this camp is for you. This camp is limited to ten students to insure quality interactions. Training materials, daily snacks, a t-shirt, and a graduation pizza party will be provided.
