Dinosaur Easter Eggs

April 1, 2015

If you have little ones that are really into dinosaurs- this is the egg trick for you!!  It is also a really awesome alternative to the traditional Easter egg coloring and the best part is that you probably have all the supplies on hand!

Supplies:

Cups
Hard Boiled Eggs
Food Coloring

Step 1:  Boil the eggs and once they are cool, crack them gently.  The smaller the cracks the better the end result.

Step 2:  Put some plain water in a cup and squeeze lots of food coloring in the cup.  I didn’t measure this at all but we used about ¼ of the bottle.

Step 3: Gently place the egg in the cup and set it in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 4:  Rinse off the egg in the morning and gently remove the shell and you will see a dynamic dino egg

On some eggs, I removed the shell completely but on others, I left a little on the bottom to look like it was coming out of the egg.  Awesome eggs either way!!
