What a fun family tradition to start! These lovely links are so simple that even the smallest kids can participate. Instead of counting down to a special occasion, these are used to count our blessings! Each night at dinner we come up with something that we’re thankful for as a family and add it to our link. It’s truly a stunning visual reminder of all we have to be thankful for! I think we might try to see if we can come up with enough to encircle the entire kitchen! I bet your family can too!
How To:
1. Cut some equal-length and width strips of fall-colored paper.
2. Get some markers and let your child write what they are thankful for that day. (Or they can draw a picture.)
3. Use glue sticks, tape, or a stapler to slide the strip into the previously circled strip and then adhere to it, creating a "link."
