It all becomes easier, and we become busier. This week, we are stepping into the 15205, also known as Crafton, PA, where we have 6 out-of-the-box places for you to visit and do fun things with kids.

1. Pittsburgh Paintball Park

Pittsburgh paintball Park is Pittsburgh's newest mega paintball theme park. Influenced by video games like Call of Duty, Pittsburgh Paintball offers movie quality maps such as military compound, Vietnam B-52 crash site, Mayan Temple ruins, a regulation turfed NXL field and more! Book Private Games & Play Public Play Games Year Round. Great for birthday parties and and fun events, your kiddos, teens and friends will love this battlefield. Choose your inner player and see if you have what it takes.





2. Kolor-N-Kiln

Kolor-N-Kiln is a friendly DIY ceramics, mosaics, and painting shop open to anyone willing to have some fun and try new things! You can walk in and go through the process without an appointment, or you can set up a specific time to get creative. Kolor-N-Kiln, also, hosts events open to the public as long as you reserve your spot. This is a fun way to let loose and express yourself, especially, for the extra creative kiddos who tend to forget that walls aren't canvases. Making memories that last forever, literally, is what Kolor-N-Kiln is all about. The friendly staff will assist you with anything you need, so don't be nervous if you've never played with glass wood mosaics before. 

3. Hobby Lobby

This craft store is filled with anything your child can dream of creating, or you can dream of decorating your house with. Hobby Lobby has crafts, DIY items and decorations galore, so you can get lost in the ideas pretty easily. Next thing you know, your husband/wife is sitting in the car for 3 hours, and you walk out with five more bags than planned. This would be a great place to search for fun puzzles or projects for you and your kids to have some fun at home. You can also come up with a fun game to play in the store, like see who can find the first dinosaur object, or see who can find the puzzle with the most pieces. This store is filled with fun things to do and create and ways to keep your kids occupied, while you look for the perfect centerpiece. The next time your little monkeys get too wild with the floor is lava game, out of boredom, bring them here.




4. The Mall at Robinson - KidZone

Kids 2-12 are invited to jump in and experience quality programming with The Mall at Robinson all year long! They want to engage young children and their family’s in fresh new activities and events, including cultural and educational programs, as well as character meet & greets, story-telling and craft nights. Register online to be a part of the KidZone at the mall and have access to all these cool activities. While you're shopping, your kids can have fun too. We all know how boring shopping is to our little rascals.

5. Crafton Ingram Shopping Center

Lincoln Highway at Foster Avenue, Crafton, PA 15205 

6 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Bring your kiddos on your shopping trip to the Crafton Ingram Shopping Center to simultaneously entertain and finish your errands. This place is filled with all the stores you need for groceries, fun activities and more. Cross off your grocery list at Giant Eagle, get your hair done at The Curls Next Door, and play a mean game of bowling, all in one trip. Don't forget your daily Dunkin' run either. Crafton Ingram Lanes offers daily deals and weekly specials for family-fun, affordable game nights. They even offer party packages for exclusive fun. Don't miss out on a night full of bowl. When it's time for fun in the sun and ice cream runs again, check out Crafton Mini Golf just for $2 a person. This summer-fun course will bring out the competition in everyone. Stop at Crafton Ice Cream Delite for a cool treat on the way home, and visit the Crafton Swimming Pool across the street.
