The Sewickley Public Library invites you to grab the family and take a stroll through one of five different community StoryWalks set up throughout the Quaker Valley. A StoryWalk® places pages from a children’s picture book along a walking path so that children and their caregivers may enjoy nature and reading together.
The latest Sewickley StoryWalk begins Friday, August 4! Families can visit each site to take a self-guided walk around the parks and read a book as they go. Different picture book stories are featured at each site. The Sewickley StoryWalk runs from August 4 – 27, 2023.

Visitors are encouraged to pick up a Sewickley StoryWalk passport during their visit to a StoryWalk location, in the Children’s Department, or print one online. Visit at least three (3) Sewickley StoryWalk locations in 2023, fill out the info on your passport, and bring it back to the Sewickley Public Library Children’s Department to be entered to win one of the StoryWalk books! More than 20 Prizes to give away – enter often! Drawing will be held October 15, 2023.
