1. Fall Festivals 

  • Bring out your best ride to Collier Park on September 22nd to help kick off Collierfest where there will be live music, kid’s games, food and craft vendors.
  • Gather at Fair Haven Farms for a fall festival filled with corn mazes, pumpkin patches, a food shack, a hayloft shop, and a family fun center! 
  • Ready to enjoy hay rides, hay mazes, arts & crafts, barnyard petting zoos, and more? Stop down at Hay Day at Hartwood Acres Amphitheater for the ultimate fall-filled fun! Enjoy this fall event rain or shine! Don’t forget to check out the rest of Allegheny County’s Fall line-up.
  • Carnegie Fall Fest is filled with hayrides, crafts, live music, and Carnegie's epic “Rogi Rumble”! Come ready for the pierogi contest that sets this fall fest apart from others like it!
  • Renshaw Farms Pumpkin Fest is almost here! Admission includes fun activities like corn pits, corn mazes, a spookley the Square Pumpkin storybook in the corn maze, and so much more! Enjoy family crafts and photo booths! 
  • Fall in love at the Pumpkin Festival at Cheeseman Farm. Pick out your favorite honey, apple butter, and of course a pumpkin! This festival will have plenty of family fun activities in store! You can go on hay rides, go to the petting zoo, and you can even hay jump! Stop down and have some fun.

2. Educational Fun Lessons

  • Take a trip to the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden for a story of how both the land and this organization comprise what is known as the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden. Hear from groups that have dedicated their time and ideas to developing this garden. This lesson will cover what the land was before it turned into this luscious space we have learned to know and love as the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden.
  • Native American Day is upon us. Celebrate and gain more knowledge of the Native American tribes in your area! Learn from the more modern tribes while having the opportunity to purchase goods and even participate in some events! Check out how to honor indigenous peoples of this region article to gain even more knowledge than before!

3. Sweet Tunes Near You

  • Come rock and roll at Robin Hill Lunchtime Concerts for an hour of FREE music on the lawn of Robin Hill Park! Just bring a lawn chair and dress for the weather to ensure the best experience! It is also time for great music and dancing at the party in the park at Green Tree Municipal Center on Wednesday, September 20th! There will be great family-friendly tunes, the chance to play with bubbles, and so much more! 
  • With Fall right around the corner, this weeks Fall Concert Series takes place at Boyce Park on Saturday the 23rd. Let the music bring you, your family and friends, and the community together while enjoying the sweet sounds of music!

4. Save on Cool Gear!

Have you heard?! While we are super sad that our friends at Snapology are closing their doors, they are having a business estate sale where you can snag some really unique items that were loved by many. Sale dates are Monday 9/18 through Saturday 9/23.

5. Dinos in the Safari

OMG isn’t this so cute?! Weekends at Keystone Safari are DINO-mite! Experience a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness Dinos roaming the zoo with all of the different zoo animals! You and your family will be able to find these dinos prowling about between the safari pavilion and the mining station.
