Celebrate the start to summer at the Moon Parks Foundation 3rd annual community fundraiser….”Here Comes the Sun Summer Kickoff” featuring special guests BEATLEMANIA NOW in Moon Park! Friday, May 31st from 4:30-9:00pm (music starts at 7:00pm)!
This exciting all ages fundraising event will feature bounce houses, rock climbing walls, cash carnival games, mini golf, raffles, food trucks, “Let it Beer Garden” & more! All are welcome to attend and support this event! $20 “ride-all-night” wristbands can be purchased to include unlimited play on the bounce houses, rock climbing wall and mini golf course which will run from 4:30-8:30pm.
This event will support the efforts of the Moon Parks Foundation with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the UPMC Childre’s Hospital Foundation and their efforts!
The Moon Parks Founddation is Moon Township’s 501(c)(3) and is organized exclusively for educational, community and general charitable purposes and supports the initiatives of Moon Parks and Recreation each year. This year, our focus will be aimed at raising funds for the enhancement of family fun and comfort in Moon Park to include:
- Shade structures installed around the splash pad/main playground for extra comfort on those sunny days in the Park
- Permanent games installed throughout the park (corn hole, ladder ball, etc.) for all to enjoy
- Replacement of wooden picnic tables with brand-new tables made with recycled materials, and more!
Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved with this fun community event be setting up a table/activity and/or arranging a sponsorship!
