By Emily Papa, Macaroni KID Pittsburgh Publisher April 27, 2024

The Macaroni KID Summer Camp Expo & Family Fun Fair was this past weekend at UPMC Events Center in Moon Township, and boy, it was a blast! Here are a few photos from the event! If you had the opportunity to attend, we would love your feedback on the event here.

Lisa, Macaroni KID Pittsburgh City Publisher & Emily, Macaroni KID Pittsburgh West & South Hills Publisher with our favorite purple dinosaur Nimbus, from What a Charactor! Mascots.

Our friends from Aetna Better Health are always so supportive of our efforts of being involved in the community and were generous gold sponsors of this year's Summer Camp Expo & Family Fun Fair.

Saturday Light Brigade comes to you live every Saturday and this summer they are offering middle and high school students one-of-a-kind experiences at the Youth Media Center. We appreciate their support as gold sponsors of the 2024 Summer Camp Expo! Find out more about their summer camps here.

This was our first year having Point Park University as part of our event, and we were so excited to learn about their youth and high school summer camps and initiatives. If you missed them at the expo, learn more about their offerings here. We'd also like to thank Point Park for being Silver Sponsors of this event!

Camp Fitch YMCA came down to visit from beautiful Lake Erie to spread some sunshine about their camps for kids ages 6-17. Want to know more?

Mad Science cooled things down with a chilling dry ice experiment. They offer full and half day STEM summer camps all over the Pittsburgh area.

Have you done an Open Streets Pittsburgh yet? Bike PGH was here to spill the tea of the new dates and routes for 2024. In case you missed it, head to for all the deets. Shout out to Bike PGH for being a silver sponsor of this year's event!

It's not always safe to walk into the Dragon's Den, unless you're at our Summer Camp Expo! Dragon's Den brought the fire with their adventure camps held both indoors & outdoors for kids ages 5-15. Learn more about their offerings here

Who rocks the house? School of Rock rocks the house! If you saw them at the expo but didn't get to book your summer camp, they are offering a 15% discount with code EXPO15 for a limited time!

Oh hey there friends from Venture Outdoors! What do you have going on this summer? A little bit of everything? Count us in!

Whether you're looking for fun STEAM camps or just somewhere really fun to take your kids this summer, the PA Trolley Museum has you covered!

YMCA Camp Tippecanoe, YMCA Camp Tippecanoe, YMCA Camp Tippecanoe... Isn't that so much fun to say?! But seriously, don't you just want to tippe-a-canoe on that gorgeous lake?! Get your kids registered for this Stark County summer camp here

Brand new to the Pittsburgh area is Allegheny Rhythms! With nothing else like it in the Pittsburgh area, your child will have a ball (literally) twirling around with a ribbon and hoop in this summer camp.

Put on your dancing shoes kids because we had some great dancing representation at the expo!

Kids were mesmerized when Mad Science took the stage for a dry ice presentation.

Element Dance Studio nearly brought the roof down with their incredible hip hop moves on the dance floor.

Entertainment vendors included our emcee hostess with the mostess Miss Cassidy, PlushiHut Workshop, FacePaint Pittsburgh, Enchanted Entertainment, and Howard Bender Caricature Artist.

Our friends from Moon Parks were there to share all their fun upcoming summer programs! You can catch Macaroni KID at their Touch-a-Truck on May 18th and Here Comes the Sun on May 31st!

This girl is a whole vibe! If you stopped by this preppy table, then you know what I mean. If you missed out, you'll have to visit her cute location in Bethel Park!

Who doesn't love a good prize wheel? My daughter spun and won tickets to RMU Girl's Hockey game. How fun!

And then there were the baskets! I'm kind of a basket snob and I thought these were amazing! We had so many generous businesses who donated raffle items that in turn allowed us to sponsor small businesses attending the expo.

The Cheerful Balloon in Washington did a fabulous job in making our event space cheerful! Even the tigers were happy!
