The Mission of the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall is to build community with a library, theater and historic site that welcomes, informs, entertains and engages the community and the region in lifelong learning.
The Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall sitsgraciously on a hill above Carnegie’s Main Street. Thefacility houses a fine regional library, an acousticallyexcellent music hall, studios, a lovely reception hall,and - a true national treasure - its Civil War Room. TheThomas Espy Post of the Grand Army of the Republicis one of the seven or eight most intact G.A.R. post inthe country.
